Earl of Dartmouth 2010 - August 19, 2010

Roger Roper of the Wike Ridge Golf Club overcame heavy showers and blustery winds to become the 2010 Earl of Dartmouth Champion.

The former Yorkshire Amateur Champion and County player posted scores of 70 & 69 for a total of 139 and were enough to pip Edward Battye of the Dewsbury Golf Club, current Woodsome assistant Toby Garrett from the Crosland Heath Golf Club, and Gary Fullwood of the Wath Golf Club, all with scores of 140.

Battye was one of the early starters and his scores of 72 & 68 were enough to lead throughout the afternoon until the very last group when Roper posted his total.
