Welcome to the 'New' Woodsome Hall Golf Club Pro-shop
John Eyre is the club's PGA Professional and is widely regarded as one of the finest golf tutors in the North of England.

John became a fully qualified AA PGA Professional in 1994, was the HHDGA Union Stroke-Play champion in 1997 and runner-up in the Match-Play Championship of 2005.
His fine reputation for coaching has resulted in him heading up coaching for the Halifax, Huddersfield District Union of Golf Clubs Men's and Junior teams, as well as a number of professional players; and John is also in the Yorkshire coaching squad where he teaches the Yorkshire Young Intermediates.
Rest assured though, such impressive credentials do not restrict him from enjoying teaching club golfers of any standard.
John also specialises in putting clinics through his involvement with puttingzone.com, for whom he is the English National Putting Coach (please click for further information)
Assisting John on the practise area will be David Astin (PGA Qualified Teaching Professional); David is entering his 3rd full year as a PGA professional and holds ambitions to play competitive golf on the pro-circuit.
The Woodsome Pro-shop has been completely re-furbished within the last month, and John together with assistant Adam Hepworth are keen to welcome everyone to view the impressive new facilities that have been created.
Comprehensive ranges of 'Woodsome Hall' embroidered clothing and luggage is now in stock - perfect timing for the new golfing season. In addition significant re-stocking of golf equipment has taken place and ranges from the following manufacturers are now available: Ping, Titleist, Cobra, Cleveland, Srixon, Benross, Hippo, Yes, Oscar Jacobsen, Cross, Glenbrae, Sunderland, Kasco, Footjoy, Hitec, Powakaddy, Hillbilly and Squadron Batteries.
