Dress Code

 All visitors are most welcome at Woodsome. We respectfully ask that our dress code is observed both on and off the golf course.

 On The Golf Course 

                  Correct golf attire must be worn at all times.
                  Tee shirts, jeans or trainers are not permitted. 
                  Gentlemen's golf shirts must be tucked in. 
                  Shorts must be tailored, free of external pockets, and worn with knee length self-
                  coloured socks or plain white ankle socks with no motif or logo.

In The Clubhouse

Smart Casual Dress ( non-golfing attire ) may be worn:- 
                  Gentlemen’s Bar - Friday from 5.00pm 
                  Dartmouth Room - Sunday all day 
                  Dining Room - Friday from 5.00pm

Casual Dress may be worn:-
                   Hallas Room - At all times
                   Snooker Room - At all times
                   Committee Room - At all times
                   Casual Bar - At all times 
                   Dartmouth Room - Until 6pm Monday to Thursday.   All day Friday. Until 6pm Saturday

Jacket and Tie must be worn:-
                    Gentlemen’s Bar, Smoke Room – Saturday to Thursday at all times. Friday until 5.00pm
                    Dining Room - Saturday to Thursday at all times. Friday until 5.00pm 
                    Dartmouth Room - After 6pm Monday to Thursday. After 6pm Saturday

Please note that the wearing of golf shoes, waterproof clothing or soiled golf clothing is not deemed acceptable in any of the club rooms at anytime. This also applies to tee shirts, jeans, trainers and any form of headgear.

Anyone inadvertently contravening the dress code will be politely asked to comply. 

Mobile Telephones

  • Mobile Telephones are not allowed in The Clubhouse.
  • As a courtesy to all, The Clubhouse is a "mobile-free-zone". It is felt to be an intrusion to make or receive calls/texts in any club rooms. Please observe this rule.
  • Should it be necessary to use your phone, please return to your vehicle; do not stand in doorways or car parks whilst using your mobile.
  • Mobile phones may be taken on the golf course in golf bags, for use in a medical emergency, but they must be switched off or to 'silent mode'.
